Red SOS and phone on dashboard

Can anyone help me with this?
I have a red SOS phone and the below message on my dash. I have had it for about a week now and it will not allow me to use my app. I have had the car since August and have had no other issues

That's a common MG "eCall" fault, but usually comes back on next drive out.

A dealer visit by the look of it.

Thanks for the fast reply. It has been like it nearly a week now and I have drove it probably 400 miles since. Doesn’t look like it is going to correct itself

Might be worth trying a factory reset of your system?

I have an MG4, but I would think all the MG systems are identical.

Go into system settings and find your factory reset button.

You will have to redo your settings/stations etc, but its worth a shot.

I get this too. Happens randomly. Has anyone found a fix.
Dealer useless... reset alarms apparently. Made no difference.
 
Maybe a poor live or earth connection with the aerial ? the extra humidity letting it re-connect and then reset? Total guess , but you never know ?????
 
Mine is now doing this red SOS warning and zero bars on the phone signal.
Have reset the infotaiment & done the battery reset with no luck.

Any advice? I asssume this is a warranty job.
 
It is booked into MG Ipswich for mid Jan along with the first service & software update R25 to R27
 
I had this issue, it started to be intermittent and then just stayed permanently.

The fix was 2 separate visits to MG, the first to diagnose that it was a faulty TBOX. They only managed to troubleshoot as they had another ZS on the forecourt and that fixed it, but as they're hard coded to the car I couldn't keep it and had to go back.

What was disappointing was it took an initial visit for them to say wait and see, then the second to diagnose, and a third visit to actually fix. The upside however is that I had issues with the app to remote control my car, and this resolved it.

Whilst they were there they also updated the software. I still have a confirmed issue with using aircon controls whilst airplay is on, no fix for 6 months yet.
