Redundant Battery Button

Reading the manual (sad, nothing else to do in lockdown.

All I think the battery button (next to the KERS) does is to display a fancy GOM.

Could MG reprogram it to do something else?

What would you want it to do?

An extra 100 mile range would be nice. Failing that, displaying the true state of charge as a percentage would be more useful than the battery blobs.
