Regen braking when braking?

Not sure if this is correct but does tapping the brake pedal lightly increase brake regen?

For eg, if I'm traveling along at 70mph tops, and then fully let go of the accelerator, the average regen power is about -15.

However if I gently tap the brakes power goes to -25.

Then if I press harder I can feel a more pedally type of braking.

Correct ... the first bit of travel of the brake pedal is actually a signal to the system to increase the regen (to a maximum of 25 per my experience), further travel applies the physical brakes. This phenomenon is more noticeable when you have a lower regen level selected.
