It seems I can't get past step 1, when trying to remove the stereo;).

I can't remove the fan. Is there a screw or something in there or should i just use more force?

I tried to remove one of the round vents and it won't move. I tried squeezing it top to bottom, side to side etc. and there's no movement at all. :cautious:

That video looks like it's from the petrol MG ZS. Dunno....could there be a difference?

Have a look at this ebay listing for the vents, it shows where the clips are situated, looks like it just slots in and has same retaining clips as the long silver parts.

Those clips look quite hefty, probably needs a trim removal tool to get them started.

I can't get this out, at all. I fear breaking it. Those clips does indeed look hefty.

Isn't there some disassembly instructions for this? What do car repair shops do? They just use their intuition (gefühl)?;)

Rest assured it does not come apart as easy as the video, they must have loosened everything first, also the radio bezel is different on ours but comes off in a similar way. It's a lot easier if you have hard plastic trim removal tools like these from Amazon.

Amazon product ASIN B07VNPMFJ3

Used prying tools and got it out. Just applied simultaneous equal pressure around the edges.

Also loosened the panel between the vent and the stereo, no problemo.

Struggling with the stereo panel now.

Well, I can't get past this socket. I can't get it out. It seems so simple, but it's really stuck in there. Wonder if it's some kind of locking mechanism.
