Reversing camera show distance

Has the reverse camera screen always shown distance from the car behind? See pic.

I consider myself to be quite observant but today was the first time I noticed since owner the car ~6 Months. I have no services or updates since. Have a just totally missed this before?

Trophy LR 23 build but 74 plate when hand over with all latest updates when I collected it new.

Yes, same on my XPower, and it seems to be quite accurate.

lol I guess I am not observant as I thought.

Then again I am an old fart who doesn’t need driving glasses yet but does use them for reading. Also I do use the reverse camera but still rely on old school mirrors and looking through the rear window.

I have an SE so no rear camera, but my display got the distance indication when I got 1100R33. 1100R13 didn't have it. (I don't know if R16 or R21 introduced it).

I have R21 and it doesn't show the distance.

It shows from c.145cm. If you park further away from cars or walls than this then you'd have never have seen it
