Rolling back

I could do them myself, they’ll just be sliding pin rubbish like most cars and the pins will be short on lube.
I maybe will one day.
Not short on lube so much as no lube whatsoever if my one is typical.
If you know your way around a caliper it's just the typical 7mm allen to release the slide pins.
I stripped all four corners on my car, rubber grease on slides and copper grease on pad ears.
Parking brake is now smooth as butter and the uneven wear ring on the discs is fading day by day.

I’ll maybe get around to it if I decide to keep the car.
I avoid copper grease these days though, prefer brake-specific grease like ‘pad goo’

Be careful by doing MG out of "warranty" work !
They do not supply a jack and wheelbrace for a reason.
Whats a jack and wheel brace got to do with warranty work, that's just to save money

UPDATE TO ROLLING BACK! I decided to test it out in both Eco and Normal modes, and in Eco it def rolls back, but Normal and Sport it does not, so at least now I know!

Makes sense I suppose, given that holding will use energy and ECO is all about saving it.
Another reason to avoid ECO, which truly ruins any car I’ve driven (ICE or EV)
I liken ECO to having a nice set of speakers and then hanging towels over them.

Truth be told, the range on the SR is not cutting it for me, only reason I have been using ECO is to avoid charging multiple times a week, and if I'm in traffic or driving behind idiots at 40 (plenty on our roads here, loll) why waste energy right!
