Roof rails as accessory..

As I have a non-LR MG5 mine didn't come with the roof rails but I was wondering if they are available as an option for me to fit later? It's not that I particularly want roof rails but I could fit the antenna I wanted to install in the location where one of the rail feet bolt on so I can reuse/hide the hole when it comes to time to move the vehicle on.

Has anyone on here fitted their own roof rails?

Did it to my Grand CMax - but it was an accessory kit (part of the Family Pack along with tinted windows) so had instructions for torque settings, etc.

Suspect the body of all MG5 cars have the holes in place? Can’t say I’ve ever looked at an Excite model though

Again, the Ford was easy as there was a trim which hid the holes - new OEM trim parts came in the kit. Don’t imagine this exists for the MG, at least not in the UK. Try AliExpress or some East Asia websites where the Roewe Ei5 is sold.
