Rusty bolt head on battery tray

Changed my 3.5 year original 12V battery, (battery test machine gave it 12% health and had occasionally got dash message to charge it). Seems a daft design some electonics box is mounted on the battery tray blocking access to the battery clamp bolt. Bolt heads for mounting bracket of said box seem surprisingly corroded.

Waxoyl them. Looking at the box slt on the road is causing corrosion

So's the battery clamp bolt mine were just as bad
