S5 just keeps giving🤦‍♂️

Hopefully this isn’t just me, I had to brake really hard in a short distance as a car jumped the lights and immediately my hazards came on,I could see them flashing in the vans rear doors in front of me which was like a mirror, looked down at the dash, had I touched something, looked at dash not flashing , hazard switch not flashing, pulled away slowly and by magic they turned themselves off, is this a safety feature which isn’t in the knowledge bank yet or back to the dealer with a possible fault , thanks for any heads up on this matter

Sounds like the Front Collision Assist kicked in slightly before you pressed the brakes, this feature will automatically brake and put hazards on.

yeah, the same happens when you're stopped at a traffic light, and a motorbike or another car drives close to you, the blinkers come on too.
