So you can get Google maps up onto the screen? That would be good, I prefer Google maps do you know how to do this? TIA

Yes, connect your phone via Bluetooth.

Thanks I have done it through the usb data port now but didn't know you could do it though Bluetooth as well I'll have another look thanks

Hi, that's interesting. I've been searching MG forums and finally found the exact issue I'm having with my 2021 MG HS Essence. I'm in Syd Australia and we do not have extreme cold temps so the issue I'm experiencing is ongoing. My MG Service centre has advised me that there is a software update that is being worked on to fix the issue. They said it will be available Jan 2022. Has anyone else heard of any updates for a fix for this problem?

I have the same car but a 2022 model - I month old, and my Navigation would not load this evening in Sydney, and it was not that cold.
I will try to verify with my local service centre tomorrow about the cause and fix for the problem.
