SATNAV not loading

Has anyone else had this problem?
My two years old 5 has just decided to stop midway in loading the satnav.
Have tried all the usual resets, apart from disconnecting the battery, but to no avail.
Rest of the screen based activities are working fine

This is what happened to me after a failed map update.
Infotainment unit had to be returned to Longbridge as the dealers cannot fix it.
Car was off the road for 17 days.
