Setting the timer for charging

My MG LR EV TROPHY sets the timer and says it is set. The charger is connected and it confirms that is. But it does not charge. Please advise.

So have you set a scheduled time to charge? What charger do you have, and I take it no charging schedule is set on the charger? Do you have any settings on your iSmart app that don’t agree with the cars ?

There are no settings on the charger and no apps in use to disagree with other cars .
It is a 7 KWh charger and ir works with a Kia,
And I can’t disable it to allow for manual setting.

Try setting the charging schedule in the App to the very same times, as the ones in the head unit and try that.

I pulled the cable out (again) and pugged it in again and it worked, sorry that it wasted everyone’s time.
