We were taken over by So Energy last year, after many communications to them for info on help going eV had nothing from them till today.
We had a Zappi installed 6 weeks ago and collected the MG5 LR from Richmond Portsmouth just over 2 weeks ago( only a 2 month edit from ordering).
Anyway SoEnergy are offering users of Easee chargers a£0.60p/hr reduction for charging midnight to 5am.
I complained of no one replying to my requests.
A reply advised that users of other charger makes will be eligible in the near future.
Regards
Roger

60p/ hr is it not normally in kWh's?
Have you looked at switching suppliers?

NO, they give you £0.60p off your bill for each hour you charge your car after midnight before 5pm.
If correct = £3.00 off your days overall energy bill.
That's how it is explained in the e-mail
Roger

It sounds like it's worth modifying your charge point to allow the charge rate down to the minimum (6A or less) and then charging for the whole 5 hours every night.

Just switch to Octopus (yes, they are accepting new customers) and pay just 7.5p per kWh overnight. That will save you a fair bit more than 60p per hour.

Agreed not that great a deal.

Back of fag packet arithmetic.

Don't know what your rates are on So but simple quick arithmetic says
4 hours at 7kW = 28kWh at say 30p/kwh = £8.40, then minus 4 hours @ 60p is £2.40 taken away from £8.40 = £6 to pay.
On Octopus Go at 7.5p/kWh total to pay would be £2.10

or the other way around
Per hour 30p/kwh * 7 less 60p = £1.50 or over 21p /kWh on So...... 7.5p on Go

:)
