The bolt hole will be correct 5x112. It's the depth you should check make sure it clears the brakes. But if they've said it will,
then fair enough.

Agree, a bit of a pain. But could be well worth it. Check front and back, wheels.
As it may well clear the back brakes,,but not the front, which are bigger.

You have to really, as has already been said, you don't want to have to find out one way or the other on the side of the B269 with a flat tyre.

Interesting. Does the ZS wheel/tyre fit the S5 axle?

The ZS EV’s have the more robust wheel bearing hubs fitted, as used on the previous MG HS model.
The hubs on the ZS ICE do not have the same bolt hole pitch as the EV.
When the ZS EV was first released, MG offered a space saver wheel kit.
But when buyer tried to fit the wheel, it was discovered that the bolt pitch was wrong.
MG with drawn them from sale and then offered them again, with the HS kit which did have the correct hole pitch.
The S5 Trophy LR has the larger 18 inch rims as factory fit, over the standard 17 inch rims on the lower spec/d models.
I sounds very much like the new S5 model has the same hole pitch as the ZS EV then.
It would be very interesting to hear if anybody HAS physical tried the ZS EV space saver wheel and tyre on the S5 and checked for a possible foul condition on any of the components on the car, both front and rear.
