I'm also wondering about a spare skinny 18" tyre. Surprised MG don't sell one or suggest one from one of their other models if they would fit. In the meantime, I will rely on "strings" to repair any nail or screws through the tread as they have saved me numerous times in the past with great success.

In the Hybrid version, I doubt you could fit it under the floor, even under the double floor with the floor in its upper position. After having had a annual S+ yesterday as a courtesy car, I can attest that you can definitely put a space saver in that, with the floor raised even a full sized one, no problem.

Sorry, no a regular new ZS manual, non hybrid, now called in Austria ZS+ (because the old ZS is still on sale, and the hybrid turned from a ZS Hybrid+ to a ZS+ Hybrid as well). As that has the 12V battery in the front, there is a huge space below the false floor where the Hybrid modle has the 12V battery and styrofoam.

Do you mean just sit it in the boot . You can cut away some of the polystyrene so the wheel will fit under the floor . There’s a post I did on here showing it can be done .

Yeah, mine's too, but they managed to leave space for a space saver …just ..

Could have been a lot more if they had moved the 12V battery elsewhere and all the stuff under the polystyrene
