If it were a Mercedes, a false badge could cause a lot of trouble. Mercedes is very sensitive about this. They do not allow foreign logos to be affixed to their vehicles, nor do they allow heavily modified vehicles to bear the star emblem.

And God forbid you put an AMG badge, on
a non AMG Mercedes.
