Touch up paint should make the black mounts less noticeable.

Mine came with the black plastic chunk below the plate like some others. I quite like it - the Matt plastic matches my bumper protector & position next to badge doesn’t really bother me

You guys might like to consider fitting a number plate surround.

The following stainless steel example by Brown & Geeson is what I'm fitting to the rear of my MG5.

It will cover the OEM Chinese plate mounting holes, and smarten up the hatch area.

I've as good mind to 'cheese wire off' the SW EV badging and scrap it, and lower the MG5 logo into the space created (assuming the badging is only stuck on, and not pinned).
