Squealing Noise In Reverse

Hi Everyone,

My MG ZS EV makes a squealing noise from time to time when I put the car into reverse. I assume this is related to the breaks, but is it common and should I get it fixed at the dealership? Or is it just a normal issue that some cars can have if you rarely use the breaks. Thanks!

Because of KERS the brake discs are not used a lot and so rust or whatever is created. A dab of the brakes now and again should get rid of the noise. I think it is possible that dealer can clean them at a service. Many EVs have this quirk except Tesla as they auto dab the brakes now and again.

Lots of us with the same problem must be a quirk
