I see a couple of reviews and a number of them are mentioning poor stability with side and head wind.
How do you rate straight line stability of the S5, e.g. compared to the MG4 (if you had one)? Better, equal, worse?

I have had mine since a few months now and have never experienced any Stability issue.
Had mine in August, no problems with stability, still getting to grips with all the set up options, very pleased with my first EV, only charge with Granny charger.

Well, the MG4 isn't very stable with head of side winds. These reviews explicitely complain that it was even worse compared to the MG4 (as bad as the first Suzuki Alto ...).
So I thought I'd ask for the general opinion here.

I've never noticed any stability problems. It's a bit more susceptible than lower cars, but not by much - certainly nothing to worry about.

It doesn't handle high winds really well. I travel to Leeds and back across the moors every week. It was really strong winds last week and I was having to work hard and pay extra attention to keep it in lane for sure. It did ultimately stay in lane mind. Not sure I would call it a stability issue. High winds are always going to buffer a car to some degree.

Just checked one of the reviews. It claims the issue is related to the weight distribution (more rear, less front).
With head wind, indeed more weight at the front will result in more stability. But it's opposite to side winds, I'm reading on various forums. Yet the reviewer claims the distribution causes the instability (wind sensitivity seems to fit better) with both head and side wind....
Maybe I should check it myself when the winds pick up again.

Gotta be, coz it's taller. By no means bad.
But Law of Physics says it must be. Can't
get away from that fact. Hence why very high sided Lorry Trailers are a no no in very strong winds, particularly on motorways, and more particularly on bridges.
