Straight line stability

Stability is fine as far as I'm concerned. My previous Renault Gran Scenic was far more susceptible to cross winds but, in its defence, it was a lot bigger car .
I can't find fault with the S5 handling in any shape or form. I was wondering the other day if it was the rear wheel drive that made it such a good drive, I really can't remember the last RWD car I owned. Possibly have to go right back to mid 70's Vauxhall Victor. 😅

Well, my last one was a BMW 318i. That car was a nervous thing! Little frost? Bit slippery roads? The rear would pass you in a second. Current rear wheel drive cars are much better, thanks to many safety systems. And I love the way these car are not understeering!

After owning/driving a '74 VW Kombi since '98, any and every vehicle has great cross wind stability ..... well, except the RB145 Hino motorhome converted mini bus, that had a mind of it's own no matter what the weather conditions were ....
