Hi everyone,

Noticed a different charging behaviour in this much colder weather, happened twice this week, both times it was -6 which is much lower than anything before.

This is on a facelift ZS standard range. It's on a syncev 7kw AC charger set to run between 21.30 and 02.30 go faster tarrif.

Basically I have noticed it charges to 100% mostly at full power then tailing off as it approaches full. The difference this week is it tails off but doesn't fall below around 2kw, just stays there until the timeslot is reached.

I noticed in the app heating was on (battery heating not car), I have made no changes to have caused this.

Could it be possible that due to the cold temperature the battery heating is being used during charging and not being turned off when complete?

Not a problem other than using more electric than I would expect for the percentage the battery needs topping up.

1st image is the charge after it reached 100% and kept pulling just under 2kw. It just kept that load until end of session.

2nd image was a charge from 50%.

Anyone else noticed this!
