Sub Woofer not working

Now I see these comments I realise why I am disappointed with Bose sound in my car. Even the simulated engine noise is very weak. How do you get to the secret menus?
On the 'C' screen, go to the 'System' tab.
Tap 5 X on the 'Entertainment system' line.
In the popup screen, type the code !Mg12345.
You are now in the mechanic menu and can find a lot of information here.
Good luck with that.

Thanks, will give it a go when wife has brought my car back tonight

I tried this out on mine but there wasn’t any options to configure any of the audio apart from a speaker test.

The only interesting bits were looking at the infotainment logs (they run Android by the looks of things) and being able to turn on ADB which might mean we can put additional Android Apps on the car as well as the ones installed.

I did enable the maintenance settings to go from mileage to mileage and time, which told me the car was well overdue a services, which is interesting as it isn’t due until September - meaning the software has been running a while.

I did take a look just now. My car had mileage and time already set. I tested the LCD touch on all three touch screens and they performed better than when you are using them in anger! I tested the channels and the rear ones don’t work at all. Both front and rear channels output from front speakers, nothing from large rear. Seems there is a problem there as the bass is awful.

There was nothing else I wanted to mess with but you have to have a USB stick with the firmware on for all the updatable elements.
