Bad news all. I have run into unexpected problems with my ZS EV just yesterday.
It was due to go in for its 1 year check over next week too. Was going out to pick
up my wife when I began to get a whole succession of error messages.
First hill descending dropped out, then the collision avoidance gave an error.
Then the pedestrian avoidance failure came up. A Yellow symbol appeared by the
"speed" in the current speed display.
On the % Power meter a red car is displayed with a dirty great Exclamation
mark through it.
Then the whole LCD display packed up.
Batteries all at least 90% charged and in good order.
Everything else seems OK and the car can be driven , though I a loath to do that.
Will be arranging for it to be sent in for a service and 1 year check next week though
we have a cyclone here in Auckland at the moment. Isn't it amazing how problems
ALWAYS turn up at the worst possible time! Will let you all know the outcome.

It sounds like MG in general. Mine is in for a myriad of issues, the ‘courtesy’ replacement, a PHEV, also has a significant amount of issues - all safety features threw Wobblies on the motorway yesterday, caution lights and alarms with disconnection warnings. Such quality cars.

Not long for this world me thinks.
