Surprising behaviour

Today we went to visit friends at 2pm and I must have forgotten to lock the car. When we came out just before six the car was still on - and because it had become dark all the lights were on. It doesn't seem to have caused a problem with the 12V battery, but I'm surprised that it didn't time out at all. I'd have thought that 15 or 30 minutes without anyone in the drivers seat would have caused it to shut down.

I've noticed the same thing. At least you can check and lock it from the app.

Oh dear hope it was parked in a safe place. The insurance company conversation would have been interesting if it had gone missing :-(

Presumably it can't be driven without the key in it though?

It probably can, until the car is closed down, then it does need the key again to restart it.
