I'm told 225 55 16 are an viable option for tyres without sacrificing safety.
But as someone already said, what happens to the warranty if you modify your suspension?
I don't know why it rides so high though, bigger wheels to fill the arches would be good but again, warranty and recalibrate for speed so not worth looking into for me at least.
