Temporary “E-call fault”

I have had the Ecall light come twice over the last couple of weeks but today it came on and off 5 times traveling north on the M3 from Southampton to Winchester. Do I need to phone the dealer?

No it just means it was struggling to get a signal.....and that the phone companies had a problem in those areas.

Just try to avoid having an accident if the warning light is on ???

Yeah I had it the other day. It went away by itself

It's caused by loss of mobile phone signal, there are still some dead spots in the country even cities and they will trigger the warning light then go out once service is found
