I was cleaning off yet more bee poo from my white MG5, and noticed the apparently fairly fine exposed wired going to the front radar unit.
Has anyone assessed the cablings vulnerability from collecting or hitting debris, and if there is a better interface of the cabling into the radar than just small Lucas type connectors.
Is it also waterproof( ie the cabling to radar)
Thank you see image

Not the highpoint of design, but adequate as it's a fairly standard proprietary device that's equally exposed in other brands. I've had issues driving in freezing fog that I put down to the sensor getting covered in slush or ice, but could have been due to water in the connection.

This hasn't been noted as causing any problems elsewhere as far as I know.
Why is it that we as humans try and find problems where none exist. Human nature I guess.

Not much good if the mouse gets at them. Will be chewed through in no time.

Oh, the MG5 has a touch screen. No mouse needed!!!
