The Problems with PCP

Here is DefinitelyNotAGuru on why he doesn't like PCP. He promotes leasing, which can have its own drawbacks but I find his material very fair and down the middle, so this may be of interest to a wider audience.

Hi I just thought I would mention this little unknown fact if you have a car on finance PCP , if you do any modifications to the car you have to get written permission from the finance company as the individual doesn't own the car it's the finance company . If you make major modifications without permission. Your finance can be terminated with a costly outcome, it's in the small print
