Thermometer/ Tyre pressure problems?

Hi,
I've driven 20 odd miles earlier today and during the drive the Thermometer display varied from -40 to 8 degrees quite randomly.
Of course, at -40 the heating came on in a big way & I had to switch it off. This happened on 3 occasions during the drive (Which was interupted.)
At the same time I was messaged that I had multiple low tyre pressure messages, although the display showed that the temperatures were at 2.5 bar.
The tyre messages gradually disappeared as the thermometer returned to sanity.
Any ideas anyone?

Maybe the temperatures and pressure got confused?

It's weird driving along with the indicated temperature going up & down & tyre pressure warnings likewise!;
Software update glitch methinks?
