Do we think the seats and interior in general look in good condition on this car? It's a 22 model with 25k miles on clock.

Was concerned about how crumpled the seats look but the person selling it hasn't provided very clear follow up pictures. Few marks are to be expected I guess, am I being overly picky here? Thanks!

I've seen much worse on 3 year old cars with 25000 miles, the driver's seat bolster would probably be the first area to show wear, but it looks ok to me.
Seems fine to me, especially considering the miles on the car
Seats look fine to me. Perhaps a wipe over. But otherwise, OK. 🙂👍
Thanks so much everyone.

Whilst I have you, going to view the car on Saturday, anything in particular I may need to watch out for?

Have emailed MG to verify warranty status, hope to hear back soon.

Bear in mind you can fit very nice aftermarket seat covers, with a range of colours and designs to choose from, so you wouldn't see the seat condition anyway. I did my car when it was only a couple of months old, as much to protect the original upholstery as anything. I regard these as sacrificial, they'll take the wear and any stains, and can be replaced as necessary while keeping the car's own upholstery pristine.

The upper screen is the newer version of the HVAC software, the lower is the old version. Prettier, but a pain to operate.
Thanks. The lower one is the car we will be going with. Phoned up MG and they had that one on record + had an MOT done early and all good, less miles too. MG said they would do the LKA update for us if we came at any time, so I'll ask for any other updates to be done too.

Note that the change to the HVAC page comes with an update to the infotainment version. These updates are not automatic as with the Service Campaigns (eg covered LKA) and Recalls (covered lock-in issue). You may need to argue to get any infotainment update without paying for it. It looks like you're getting a Trophy and the latest infotainment version is R63. The SE has a different version number not related to the Trophy's.

Someone with a Trophy needs to tell him what he needs to complain about to get that infotainment version, assuming it's not the one the car has now.

My Trophy is at 1300R33 and has the early HVAC display. However I am not pushing for an update as the early issues do not impinge on my use of the car and the later versions do not appear to be trouble- or issue-free, if reports here are to be believed.

AFAIK the major issue forcing an update is constant Bluetooth disconnecting and needing repair meaning the function is not working properly or as advertised. However whether the OP can claim that without having the car for some time is debatable. Another issue is the HVAC temperature setting being incorrect.

The OP needs to see if the undertray fix is required as that can be done under warranty.

I think the OP needs to ask if all the software, including the infotainment system, is at the latest revision and, if not, ask why they are being sold an out-of-date car with known issues that are fixable.

The dealer may well lie about it. I was told when I picked up my brand new car that "all the latest software was put on it just this morning." It was on R13 and even I knew at that point that R16 was the latest version. But I kept my mouth shut because I knew that R16 deleted the external temperature display.

Like mentioned above, have a peak at the cover at the underside of the car, roughly between the rear wheels. They are known to bulge sometimes, and it’s an easy fix to have done. Other than that and software I think it’s pretty good. Maybe have a critical look at the rear light plastic cover, some people notice small stress cracks in them.
