So nearly a quarter aren't enjoying it then, almost 1 in 4, pretty poor
And 37% had to the car fixed over the past 24 months. So,less than 2/3 had no issues. Moreover, 70% of the issues took more than a week to get it fixed. Reliability score 64% (weighted by frequency, duration and cost). There is a good reason why this mg4 forum contain that many pages..
And now that I see similar complaints popping up in the S5, that isn't very reassuring.

The number of members on here is a tiny fraction of a fraction of owners. Those that had 'issues' were more often than not user error/failure to understand the product they had purchased. The few that did have real issues had those sorted out by MG. A tiny percentage of those with issues also had issues with their dealer, no different to any other manufacturer. The vast majority are happy and that's reflected in every increasing sales volumes for Mg and SAIC as a whole.

What a load of crap, "user errors" that takes defending the brand and insulting owners to a whole new level.

Loads have had issues with dealers, not just on here its all over social media and you are really in no position to comment on UK dealers issues as you stay in Cyprus and have no idea.

MG sales figures are rising because the sell a decent product at a very competitive price but their aftersales needs to improve massively

Yeah I think the more interesting metric would be “return costumers” in this case. Everybody might want to get an MG because of the competitive pricing, but for the longevity of the brand they need to worry about how many people would by another one.

Also the CCU issue comes to mind, which is clearly a major fault that took ages to get fixed for most, and had nothing to do with how people used their car. Or the bulging undertray.

Agree, or the oil leak, or the LKA or the locking people in the car recall or the suspension bushes.
All faults that can happen on other cars but also not user errors
