I have this MG one, what puzzles me though is why it has the central hinge like section when the boot floor is all one piece ?Managed to get the original from eBay. Seller was selling the entire set with the mats and mud flaps but I asked if I could just take the boot liner for £50. Much lighter than the heavy rubber mat posted above...

Re your mudflaps, my backend ! gets dirty in wet weather + camera also mucks up and was told rear mud flaps stop this happening - Q is are they a worthwhile purchase ?Managed to get the original from eBay. @Wazzmania do you have a spare tyre installed beneath the liner? Mine sits deeper and the corner get caught on the little shelf part circled below.Managed to get the original from eBay. Thanks Dodger, but the floor in my car sits lower than it appears in your photo. This is my Dealer supplied boot mat. Has been in the boot for the last eighteen months and still fits perfect.

The boot floor has 2 positions. You can use the lower as you are, or use the upper as Dodger is. Just pull the floor out and slide it onto the upper supports that you pointed out to use the higher setting. Thanks Dodger, but the floor in my car sits lower than it appears in your photo.
If you look on my image, there are black parts where a shelf would sit on (circled in blue).
Do you have a really deep cavity below the boot floor that the liner sits on? Or do you actually have a spare wheel? (mine has a repair kit so floor can sit lower.
I might need to have a look and see if my floor can be set at a higher level.
When I considered buying the MG spacer saver, I did not really want to loose the facility to use both levels of the boot floor cover. The boot floor has 2 positions. I have spacesaver spare and the floor still fits nicely on the lower setting.
I use lower setting when filling the boot e.g. holiday, and the higher for day to day to use, e.g. shopping as it is easier to slide things in and out.
When you have it on the lower setting to fully open the underfloor space you do have to slide the floor towards the rear of the car a bit as you lift it to prevent it catching on the upper supports as you have pointed out.

It's a little startling at first, but after that I think it looks fine. And it serves a good purpose.Wow, that’s awful.
