Traction battery heating?

Any ideas on when I should turn on traction battery heating? E.G. 20 minutes before arriving at a 120 kwh CCS charger for example?

See this thread. According to that then the heater switches off after 40 minutes so probably best to think 40 minutes before a charge and factor in losing about 5 kWh of battery for the heating. Without knowing the battery temperature then it's always going to be guesswork unfortunately. Probably best to only consider in the winter anyway.

During the summer or after it has been driven for a while probably not worth it.
May be more useful in the winter months.
