Ok, so If I can't persuade my dealer to "throw in" a type 2 cable, where is the best place to buy one?

Agreed !.
The page defaults to the 16 Amp 3.6 kw cable, there is a drop down box where have to select the 32 Amp 7kw version of the lead.
It will then automatically adjust the price from £95 for the 3.6 kw lead, up to £114 for the 32 Amp version.
In the photo above, you can see that the 32 Amps option has been selected.

Just google type 2 cable, so long as it's 32amp pick the length that suits you, 5m is the norm, some prefer 10m and buy the cheapest.
Simple as.

Also take into account when choosing the length, the longer the cable, the heavier it is to lug in and out of the boot and don't buy a 3 phase, they're even heavier with the extra wires.

If it's a type 2 to type 2 cable 32A should work fine.
