Unbind MG ZS EV from iSmart app

Hi there, I picked up my MG ZS EV a couple of days ago from a dealer who had bound his phone to the car using the iSmart app.

He said he'd unbound it, but now when I go to bind my phone to the car, it says the car is already bound. Is there a way to re-set this binding? I've tried a factory reset... no joy.

Any ideas?
 
I’m not familiar with iSmart, however when someone has previously registered as a user they normally need to log in to their account online or on the app and remove the car - just removing the phone from the car is not enough. Perhaps the dealer can try that and completely remove the car associated with their account.
 
Did you resolve this? Also, how long did it take to Factroy reset? 10 + minutes so far.
