Is there anyway to tell if the SC077 update has been done when I finally get me car?
If the wheel gets violently yanked when the car isn't happy with your road positioning then it is a sign that it has not been.Is there anyway to tell if the SC077 update has been done when I finally get me car?
hours???) but the larger ones can take hours
It's a shambles of a system hence the reluctance of dealers to do some of themhours???
Yes.. it takes a lot of time for the bigger updates like the FVCM (Camera) or the IPK (Screen behind Steering Wheel) each nearly took 45 minutes.. if everything is working and not failing like 6 times for FVCMhours???
It wouldn't have been an issue if the stated (at launch) OTA update ready had every been enabled but the software is just so flaky that they couldn't risk customers coming out to bricked cars on their driveways after the update had went wrong during the night.Yes.. it takes a lot of time for the bigger updates like the FVCM (Camera) or the IPK (Screen behind Steering Wheel) each nearly took 45 minutes.. if everything is working and not failing like 6 times for FVCM. These updates where done via OBD + Adapter + SIPS Software and I don't know which Baud-rate is used. Newer MGs Cars will get an ethernet Interface for quicker updates.. but not for MG4, at least for MY23.. not sure about MY24..
I can understand why dealers are not keen on doing these updates if they don't have to. I bet it wouldn't be an issue if they can be done within 15 minutes max..
