Various noises coming from the windscreen area

Have been getting these noises right from the very start. I forgot about them as I usually have the radio playing which drowns them out. Noticed then once again today as wanted a bit of quiet coming home.
There are two different ones. One is a rattle coming from the rear view mirror area. The other is a crackle (almost like electricity arcing over loose wires) coming from the right front speaker on the a pillar.
have tried tapping. Shaking knocking all the area but to no avail.
Any ideas?

Hi all, I've been trying to play whack-a-mole with some creaking/clicking sounds I've been getting from the car (the joy of things not being masked by a rumbling engine) that seem to come from both A-pillars and across the front of the dash, my guess on the later being where it meets to glass...

One is a rattle coming from the rear view mirror area.

The "Ticking / Creaking Noise" has been covered well by @Cocijo post.
The rattling from the interior mirror area, try this.
Next time you are driving over a broken tarmac surface and you hear the rattle, with two of your fingers, apply a light "pushing up" pressure to the rear of white surround, where the sun roof control / interior light is situated.
This maybe your problem area.
Ask me how I know !.
Rattle located by my wife ( passenger ) then we confirmed our theory, by removing the interior light first and then the white trim that controls the sun roof.
We left it removed for about a week to confirm if our findings where indeed correct.
Rattle completely removed.
Then I installed some silent trim tape around the border of the trim and then refitted it to the car.
I did this about 4 months ago and the rattle has not returned.
