VCS fault

Hi all
Only had the MG4 Trophy ER a few weeks. My wife was driving home from work earlier and got a "Vehicle Control System Fault, take vehicle to MG dealer" message. Will be getting in touch with the nearest dealer in the morning, but in this era of app control, etc. are we looking at something like firmware?

Worth having the dealer take a look. If occasional it probably isn't a big issue and software updates can fix it. But if you get it persistently usually means something is wrong and needs dealer attention - can be as simple as a sensor or as complicated as motor or HV battery replacement.

Hi guys, Only had my XPower for a few days, 150 miles on the odo. Just done a short trip up the road (first time driven in the rain) and the car was repeatedly putting itself into limp mode with the error "Vehicle Control System Fault. Take Vehicle to MG Dealer" Regenerative braking also...
