I charged my car to 100% last night, got in it today and a vehicle control fault error came up along with something about the hv battery and acc not working. The hv battery error and acc error have gone but the vehicle control fault one remains and it tells me to take it to an mg service. Anyone know what I should do?

Doing a 10mm spanner Ctlr-Alt-Del procedure would be my first port of call. AKA disconnect 12V battery, wait 5 minutes and reconnect it.

I am doing that now, these are all the errors I am getting if anyone is able to help in the mean time.

I now have more errors since disconnecting and reconnecting the 12v battery. I have tried clearing the errors via OBD and locking/unlocking the car but neither have worked.

Yes ... turn fully left, fully right then return to the centre.

You'll also need to reset the window controls ... press and hold fully down to open, when open keep holding for 10 secs, then lift and hold to close, when closed keep holding for 10 secs. Repeat for each window. (From memory)

Thank you, this fixed all of the errors except the original one I had which is the vehicle control fault

I’m not entirely sure I left it awhile after the battery disconnect and reconnecting then did the steering wheel thing to reset the errors, vehicle control fault was still there but I cleared the errors a few times using a obd2 Bluetooth device with an app and eventually the error disappeared, (probably the spanner my dad accidentally dropped in the bonnet that fixed it 😂) I drove it round a bit and it didn’t get the error back but it’s possible it could come back so I’ve kept my mg appointment for now as it’s for just before Christmas.
