"vehicle not responding" in app

At the end of the day I smart is pants . Having it at the moment standing near the car it logs that I'm 4 yards from the car but will not show my charging level 🤮
 
My FL MG5 has started with the same issue, and it seems to happen on particularly cold days.

A quick unlock/lock of the car gets the app working again. However, within an hour of parking up, it stops responding again.

This is less of an issue at home, as I can unlock/lock the car with the keyfob from inside then house, then use the app to precondition the cabin. However, I work away several nights a week and like to pre-condition the car from my hotel prior to heading to the car park. I can no longer do this so I'm getting into a cold/iced up car most days.
 
Been to MG a few hours ago and can’t get it booked in until 28th January but as from about 10ish today it won’t respond at all no matter what I do to the car or app done a hard reset to 12v and uninstalled app sat in car etc.

I gather it doesn’t work with the car in READY either, then it’s not related to a low aux battery voltage unless your CCU has gone faulty?
 
Battery all good been on a battery optimiser all over crimbo new year and yes I’m sat in the car with it on ready in driveway

I wonder if it's a problem with the servers ? My ZS has been the same most of today
 
Its all good now since about 15.00 it’s responding with app unsure if it will sort the long term problem with it my thoughts was something wrong with MG servers let’s see
 
Both my cars in the app is not connecting now, even if I parked one of them and locked not long ago. Connection timed out, try again later it says.

I’ve just tried mine it wouldn’t connect but when I looked outside the side lights was on my car and the heater ad activated but app says it wouldn’t connect weird.
 
Just tried mine and I get one of these two messages each time I refresh.

I have exactly the same issue with my MG5 EV. It hasn’t done it until the last few weeks, but seems to enter deep sleep most nights, even when used that day. It was recently serviced, and that coincided approximately with when I first noticed this, but otherwise I have no ideas.
Just remote unlock and lock again to wake it up. Happened to us over Christmas having not used it for five days, never done it before though, maybe the wind chill had something to do with it

That didn't work yesterday . Judging by the number of people affected across the forum,it was definitely server issue
 
I have the MG HS . now yesterday morning I tried to turn the heating on and got the vehicle not responding. Went out to the car 5 mins later and it had responded and was running . Another thing I lost the heated steering wheel icon just after I bought the car and it was on as well 🤣🤣🫣🤔 also worth noting it will only remote start twice then I get a message say for safety reasons please start with key .
