I've gone through a rejection where the finance company oodle cherry picked MGs emails, was also told I had to prove the vibe was not a characteristic by obtaining a comparable vehicle, and demonstrating to dealer, They also ignored their independent inspection which declared it as a fault and the dealer was liable, also denied the MG workshop document existed even though MG says it's genuine.
This is the corrupt process you're up against, section 75 Lloyds bank also denied existence of doc even though they have viewed all my you tube. CaseDismissed
Please have a look at
"I see through MG dealers lies"
If you haven't already
Many thanks Neil

Hey, i'm new xpower owner. I wish I knew there was this big issues with the vibration.
My car is registered at 4/2025 so I believe its the latest products? But still the same issues as the first ones I see.
What or how should I complain to dealer about it?
Car is driven only 260 kilometres now, so its brand new. I noticed when picked up, the tires didnt have enough pressure and were a bit loose bolts. But unfortunately that wasnt the issue :(

That's very poor PDI if the tyre pressures were low and the wheel bolts were loose, the first thing to do about the vibration is to phone the dealer, or take it in and tell them it has a vibration, and ask them to have a look at it.

Has anyone heard any updates on the group case? We used to get the updates from @Bricktop X PWR but he's not been on in a while (which is a shame because he knows his stuff)
Not part of the group action but I believe Bricktop's car was due to be returned this September and he certainly wasn't intending to get another MG if memory serves

I think he was due the balloon payment on pcp, and was looking at a fair hit.

Sal right @JonnyG m8.

You are not alone.

If my rejection hasn't happened by September, I too, am the thick end of 15k down with 24K to settle the PCP.

Which I was going to do at the start of my ownership.

My X Power was going to be a 5 year car.

To make me feel better I'm looking at it as Roughly £625 cost per month, with zero money down. (Lease Deal)

I've certainly paid more per month in the past for a car.

Whatever happens, I will look back on my time with the X Power as an absolute performance bargain, the likes of which, I will be surprised if we ever see again.

I still highly rate the package overall, minus the obvious. (Obviously) 🤣

I wonder what he'll do if the Group liigation looks promising (as per Case Dismissed's Ombudsman decision) but his PCP is up for the final payment ? (so either pay it or hand the car back with nothing else to pay). Mine is similar age and is currently worth around £17,500 trade value with WBAC, CarWow etc..

It's been ages since the group litigation started and all gone very quiet so I'm wondering if it's still going ahead?

I believe in some of Bricktop's last posts a few months back that he said he would be handing the car back this month so was hoping the litigation bore fruit soon before that point.

Hey, sorry to say this but in my case this got solved 😅
I bought new winter wheels and tires.
It appeared to have flat spots on summer tires that comes from factory, propably due to long parking in same spot.
Next summer I will get the tires re balanced.
Attached picture from the new wheels :)

Great to hear.

Sadly not the case with our car as dealer put 4 new tyres on at 200 miles and tried a set of wheels from another car but the vibration remained, so it wasn’t flat spots for us (I believe many dealers did the same but to no avail)
