Anyone started a list of what voice commands actually work on the MGS6?
I have tried the IM6 list posted on the forum but its not compatible with the MGS6. For instance, "Set to ECO/NORMAL/SPORT mode is not recognised.

I've seen a full list somewhere but can't recall where. Maybe it was in the infotainment settings somewhere.

Try "Hello MG, Help".

Tried a few voice commands in the car today, things that work include:
Typical Navigation commands
Nearest Charger
Typical Phone commands
Typical Radio and Audio commands
Heating Up/Down (not seats)
Fan speed up/Down
AC On/Off
Drivers window Up/Down
Passenger window Up/Down
Rear windows Up/Down
Windscreen Defrost On/Off
Screen Brightness up/Down

What doesn't work via voice:
Tailgate Open/Close
Seat functions
Theme change, or Day/Night mode
Set AC/Heating to Auto
YouTube, Spotify etc
Switch to Android Auto
Child Locks
Change Driving Modes
Change Regen
One Pedal driving
MG Pilot Custom button
Wipers

I'll edit this list as I try other functions or others comment.

I'm generally a bit dubious about voice commands (though I do use some occasionally). My brother and I have such similar voice patterns that I can operate his Google Home lighting system and my Pixel 7 Pro will wake up on hearing his voice commands to his his lighting system. I'd hope that Hello MG might be a bit more discerning.

The Hello MG command isn't discerning at all, it works for anyone in the car, even the kids in the back! 😂

So, in short, the things that WOULD be useful do not work, and the pointless ones do. Like, why would you use voice command to lower the window, when it takes 100 times longer than just pressing the button right next to you.
Apart from navigation and phone, the rest are pretty much useless.

Yes, apart from windows all the other functions are standard infotainment functions so no real integration with the other car systems or functions. It may get better with software updates as a lot of the manual buttons are already part of the infotainment anyway, like tailgate and MGPilot custom etc.

EU regulations would not allow speed warnings etc. to be switched off by voice command.
Tailgate, regenerative braking, seats and many others would also have to be programmed to only be available while stationary, as otherwise it could be dangerous. And at that point it's just more convenient and quicker to just do it on the screen, unless one has some sort of disability.

Tailgate , regen, seat heating etc are already available through buttons on the infotainment, using voice to control these functions is simply a matter of linking the voice command to the existing button function. In what way is that less safe than navigating through menus to get to the button? The EU regs only require the Overspeed warning to be ON as default, nothing there about then being able to switch it off, by voice or any other means.

I believe that NCAP requires a two-stage process to turn off those settings that enable the car to get it's rating. That said, you could easily make a voice command a two-stage process.
