This might get closerYeah their range estimates are ridiculously optimistic. I think NEDC claims 505km for the Trophy 64 kWh which I have never seen, not even when I drove the car of the dealership lot (I think it said 485 km of range then).
Front wheel drive? Are they serious?
I don't think a lot of punters know which wheels drive their car. I'm sure if I asked my wife and daughter about their cars, they wouldn't know.![]()
Could come in handy! If anyone happens to park up near a bunch of shifty looking yoofs you could grab their attention by shouting " Oi, I've took the batteries out ! " and show them a couple of AA batteries you keep in your pocket for just such occasions. Also handy as makeshift knuckledusters should they take it the wrong way!!!Or even what fuel.![]()
Oh no not the double A’sCould come in handy! If anyone happens to park up near a bunch of shifty looking yoofs you could grab their attention by shouting " Oi, I've took the batteries out ! It’s the steering wheel isn’t it ?I don't think a lot of punters know which wheels drive their car. I'm sure if I asked my wife and daughter about their cars, they wouldn't know.![]()

Yeah I just read that too, but that’s not what they told media in Australia, I wonder if the author of that article is getting their MG4s mixed up already?Am I missing something (a few brain cells perhaps), but people are talking about front wheel drive, but the blurb online for the new MG4 in China is saying "The MG4 is equipped with a 70 kWh battery pack and a 120 kW (163 hp) rear-mounted motor, configured as a single-motor rear-wheel-drive system."
But they will tell the car is understeering where the old MG4 did not...I don't think a lot of punters know which wheels drive their car. I'm sure if I asked my wife and daughter about their cars, they wouldn't know.![]()
I must be honest, I am not a fan of the new design. It looks anonymous compared with the sharp lines of the original.
Same here, I think SAIC / MG should have been a bit bolder with their design of the new MG4 and also the new IM5 and IM6. I'm thinking more Polestar like, but ETTO![]()
