The current BG van shade is a lighter blue. The old was a darker blue. Most people aren't old enough to remember that, are they?

That red is a gorgeous colour though.
Were I not such a big blue fan, I would've gone for that or the orange!
You can go into the car icon, then it's the last icon on the right, and there is a power off switch!Drove it home yesterday. Extensive handover covered everything, or so I thought. Backed onto the driveway at home, but didn’t know how to turn the car off, so just got out and locked it. That seems to work but still seemed wrong to get out while it was still powered on. Also can hear something like a ringing tone till it’s locked.
It is a bit mad, isn't it?So ok to leave and lock, got it, the ringing/tinkling sound turned out to be the air con, so happy with that now.

That's exactly what I do. Automatically puts on the handbrake and locking turns everything off.Mrs S hits the PARK button, then gets out and locks it.

I tried a few automatics in America and finally bought a Mercedes B class diesel auto. I hated everything about it. The gear selector came from a heavy tractor I’m sure. The car was just crap and finally tried to kill us with all the lights going out in the dark on the A9
Second and third autos were Citroen Berlingo Multispace diesels with semi automatic transmission. They were fabulous. They could be driven without a clutch and change gears manually with paddles on the steering wheel. I just switched them straight to fully automatic and found they were nicer to drive and more economical.
Then I had an MG ZS ev and currently a three year old MG 5 ev which is the best yet.
I’m driving an automatic petrol RAM pickup on holiday in USA just now which feels pretty cumbersome and hasn’t managed more than 13,5 mpg yet.
Passed five Rivian pickup trucks and one SUV style today - very impressive, neat vehicles.
I’ll stay with evs please.
