Warranty whilst in Europe

I’m on the verge of buying an HS PHEV, but awaiting an answer from the dealer on warranty cover whilst in Europe. Has anyone got experience of making a warranty claim whilst abroad? Is the warranty Europe wide? World wide? UK only. MG UK reply was that all warranty work must be authorised by a UK dealer, but my dealer had no knowledge of this, or how it would work in practice.

It’s a Europe wide warranty.
Just make sure your UK dealer understands this before you travel, as they still need to pre authorise any warranty work (as stated by MG UK). Dealers can contact “MG warranty control” for guidance.
