Washer saga

So a few weeks into owning the car the rear washer stopped working
As suggested it was the pipes fixed by dealer horray
But today the whole system has failed no water out of any jets or very little first thing
Ok thought water bottle might nearly empty so checked in work, nearly full
Pulled the level no noise from pump, checked fuse in front fuse box, blown but not bad, so off to Halfords new fuse fitted
Still no noise from pump, strangely I noticed a white “fluffy” substance in the washers on the driver side, I have always used washer fluid but can’t vouch for previous owner
Any ideas before I ring mg yet again

Could be the strainer on the pump suction side is blocked.

Any ideas where that would
It's strange as I cant hear the pump running at all

Pump motor failed.
Replaced under warranty.
