Had some finger chillies unused from the dahl so popped them in as well.

So anyhoo, this evening I had my version of Jamie Oliver’s fish fingernail sandwiches, I’ve tried his recipe many times using fishmongers but I’ve extended it a bit to makepos h finger sandwiches and this evening I’m stuffed.

Start point Sainsbury’s taste the difference beer battered hake.

Now for the basics. Pan white bread, nothing fancy but has to be fresh.

Fresh butter, a slather of tartar sauce on one side….

Finally a squirt of tomato ketchup, personally I love a squirt of Spanish ketchup but other ketchups are available.
