I’m planning to upgrade my wheels to something more aggressive and concave—ideally in the design direction of the Edelweiss LT3.

From what I understand, the stock specs on the Cyberster are:
  • PCD: 5x112
  • Offset: ~ET40 (front & rear)
  • Typical setup: 20x8.5 (front) / 20x9.5 (rear)

I’m looking to push for a deeper concave profile without running into any fender rubbing or fitment issues.

For those who’ve experimented with aftermarket setups:
  • What would be the ideal width and offset range to safely increase concavity?
  • How far can I reduce offset (ET) before it starts causing problems?
  • Is it better to go wider (e.g., 9.5 / 10.5) or adjust offset more aggressively for that concave look?
  • Any real-world setups (especially LT3-style builds) that achieved a flush/aggressive fit without modifications?

I’m aiming for a flush, aggressive stance with maximum concavity, but want to keep it practical—no rolling fenders or compromising drivability.

Would appreciate any recommendations, specs, or photos if you’ve done something similar.

You should check this part of the forum: MG Cyberster Upgrades & Accessories. There's a thread on aftermarket wheels. Just installed these on my GT. They are 9x20 ET 30 front and 10x20 ET35. It's hard to go wider in the front and rear - I considered 9,5 front and 10,5 rear, but was afraid of rubbing and getting to close to the suspension + my wheels are forged (and so much lighter than OEM) and these were the best specs I could get with those wheels (I looked at SO many wheels :-)). Finally they are TüV approved for the Cyberster
