Would be nice with an electromechanical release as well, like for example Tesla has, but even on the Tesla you would have to open up the bonnet yourself, unless you buy and install a rather expensive motorised frunk strut.
Although surely if somebody has the boot packed to the gunnels, and they're going to need the charging cable, they would make sure it's accessible, for example, in the frunk if they had one.Unless the boot is packed to the gunnels with cases etc for a holiday

No, the only reason i can see for having it in the frunk (And hence, where we have it right now) is if you are on holiday or for some reason have the boot full of stuff.That's all starting to get a bit unnecessarily complicated to me. Does the cable, really take up that much room, in the boot. And takes literally seconds to get in and out.![]()
