Will DAB be available in Australian HS PHEV?

I think this is a very Australian specific question, but does anybody know if there are any plans to provide DAB in future HS PHEV software/hardware updates? I have tried using AA as a replacement option, but it is a fairly cumbersome alternative.

I asked my dealer in Adelaide SA, and he and their service department had no idea about a dab chip being installed after a recall, as reported in this community news. I suspect they had no idea what a dab chip is, so not much hope there! Maybe they should read this discussion group to hear what is happening overseas!
